September is shaping up to be a very busy month for Foursided! In order to keep everyone up to date on what’s going on, we’ve decided to dedicate this month’s blog post to our plethora of activities. So buckle up and get out your planners because we have a lot of fun events ahead!
Book Signing with Bill Crisafi, 9/12 in Andersonville
First, join us for a book signing with local author Bill Crisafi as we celebrate his newest book, The Glam Reaper’s Guide to Slaying! On Saturday, September 12 between 2-4pm, Bill will be at our Andersonville gift shop located at 5061 N. Clark St. to sign books, meet fans, and kick off our spooky season. Books will be available for purchase on site, but you can also preorder a copy through our website. Come find out why the Glam Reaper puts the Bitch in Obituary!
Mini Art Show, Open Parties 9/11 Lakeview and 9/25 Andersonville
Next, we will be holding two opening events for our second annual Mini Art Show. This year the art will be split between two of our gift shop locations to maximize the amount of tiny art we can show off! The first event will be at our Lakeview gift shop located at 2958 N. Clark St. on Friday, September 11 between 6-8pm. The second opening will be on Friday, September 25 from 6-8pm at our Andersonville gift shop located at 5061 N. Clark St. There will be light refreshments at both events. Come on by to support local artists and see some cool, one of a kind, mini masterpieces!
Art Festivals, 9/19 & 9/20 Lakeview East and 9/25 Andersonville Arts Weekend Open House
Finally, we will be participating in both the Lakeview Festival of the Arts as well as the Andersonville Arts Weekend. The Lakeview Festival of the Arts will take place September 19-20 from 11am-7pm daily. It will be on Broadway between Belmont and Hawthorne. Come visit our tent to see some of our custom framing ideas and Todd’s Art Bar at the event!
The Andersonville Mini Art Show opening will coincide with the beginning of Andersonville Arts Weekend! From September 25-27, we will be celebrating all the wonderful art and creative talent at our northern locations! We’ll also be participating in the Wine Walk talking place on September 27. Come grab a glass of wine and take in all the wonderful art on display!
