Vintage Store Day
Join us in celebrating all that is vintage this Saturday, May 17th!
You've heard of Record Store Day and maybe even Stationery Store Day, and we are making Vintage Store Day a reality. These specialized days of celebration for independent businesses bring in a lot of revenue and well-deserved hype for their communities.
Now it's our turn! From hand picked kitsch
to beautiful antique frames
we love giving new life
to well loved treasures!
We hope you will join us in starting this movement nation-wide to make Vintage Store Day a reality for years to come.
Chicago Queer Creations - POP UP
Join us for a queer ceramics pop-up with Leo of Chicago Queer Creations on Saturday, May 31st!
Artist Bio:
Hi, I'm Leo! I use (they/them) pronouns. I'm a full time student, healthcare worker, trans human, and artist. I've been doing ceramics since December 2022, and I started at @gnarwareworkshop where I have a cute lil private studio and make all my goods.
I do ceramics to make my silly brain happy and scratch that AuDHD itch I have for art and new experiments. I lean towards colorful maximalism, and things some people may consider "NSFW" like my peen and vulv magnets.
I also make other things like trinket trays, bowls, wall art, etc. I basically do what makes me happy, and if people are willing to support my life and my craft, then even better!!
Come check out Leo's work and give them a follow @chicagoqueercreations!
