2016 has arrived! That means new color predications from Pantone to start off the new year with a bang! We use these colors to get inspired and motivated in our decorating, framing and gifting for the year. However, what YOU love to look at is always the most important aspect of the design process for your space.
The colors of 2016 are Rose Quartz (a soft pink) and Serenity (a light but saturated blue). The deep hues of 2015’s Indigo and Burgundy continue to be reflected in decorating today, while Serenity and Rose Quartz introduce soft tones that blend with the modernism of current home decor.
Also trending is Nordic inspired design details in furniture, lighting fixtures and even frame design. 2016 moves away from embracing rustic accents of previous years, but remains nostalgic with minimal design and Nordic inspiration. Serenity and Rose Quartz match well with natural wood tones or even contemporary metallics.
